Result: cutest-freaking-ever game of tug-of war.

Meanwhile, other than tormenting playing with the kittehs, I have made breakfast, done laundry, finished and sent off the author proofs for THE HUNTED, and, um... not much else. Right. To it, then.

I recall a cat who would swallow string (or bootlaces) inch by inch. Getting it back could turn ugly.

Thankfully neither of the Resident Felines have any interest in eating string or laces (rubber bands are another matter, which is why they [and pencil erasers] are treated like ephedrine in this house...).

sadly, it was one of those moments that happens when you don't have the camera to-hand, and getting up to fetch it would ruin the moment.
