Reminder: I'm still collecting visual evidence of Flesh and Fire in the wild!
I had a dream last night that I was walking down the sloping green lawn to a rocky shore, where the tidepools of blue-green waters fell off rather abruptly, and I could see, across the distance, another shoreline... I was clearly, from the vegetation and the other clues, somewhere Not Here, probably Mediterranean. A dozen or so people were scrambling over the boulders, and swimming, and I was dressed in pants -- rolled up -- and carrying a bag, so I couldn't go into the water but I dipped my toes in and it was surprisingly cold. And then I looked to my left, and there were neatly-tended gardens and a wrought-iron fence dividing buildings with huge windows -- clearly private homes, even though one of them had an advertisement printed on the side. And then I walked a little, and ended up sitting at a cafe table with two 20-something guys, whose camera wasn't working, and I had a memory card in my pocket (I carry a spare, generally) and put it in and their camera worked again, but I had to delete the photos that were already on the card before I gave the camera back to them, and... before I could do that, I woke up. I make no pretense at being able to explain it, that's just where my brain was, last night.
And lo, the book is launched and I move on to other things. My daily to-do list has 12 things on it (that's the max allowed) and none of them are "ten minutes and you're done" items. Best get to't....
