I am informed that Amazon.com and BN.com are both shipping Flesh and Fire a smidge earlier than street date. That means it's time for me to hide under the bed start asking folk for sightings in the wild...

So help me out, guys! Send me a photo* of Flesh and Fire (in its Amazon shipping box, on the shelf at your local bookstore, sitting comfy-and-loved on your desk)!

First ten do do so will get a Limited Edition Vineart War traveling corkscrew, perfect for tailgates, conventions, and using as a makeshift tool to get cat hair out of the keyboard (not recommended by manufacturer of either corkscrew or keyboard).

Meanwhile, Vinart 2 revisions are on p. 175 of (at the moment) 359, with a running wordcount of 98,000. Book 1 came in at about 120,000 words, and I'm probably looking at the same, here. Dear Universe: a nice, simple, 75,000 word book next, please?

Awwwww. :( Why is amazon shipping the book, but only pre-ordering it for the Kindle? (Er, that was pretty rhetorical; I know you don't have an answer for that.)

I was going to order it, then photograph the first page open on my kindle screen for evidence. Ah, well.

Can I ask when your publisher is shipping my prize? Or would that be too greedy?

Laura Anne...

Someone gave me a copy of Flesh and Fire at Comic Con. Finally came up for air work-wise and dove in this weekend. I have to say that I'm enjoying it very very much and making me yearn for my Central Coast wine weekend (coming up at the end of the month) to happen sooner. Your characters are intriguing and the story so far is a page turner. Would be great if work didn't interfere with my reading.
