2. I am at the stage in revisions on PACK OF LIES where I hatehatehate the thing. This too shall pass... but not soon enough. Where is the love, manuscript? (and word keeps insisting on changing "wiseassed" to "diseased." WTF?) But we shall come to terms and all will be well. *glares at manuscript* Right?
3. lifted out of a discussion on Facebook:

She's a giant squid draped in star-spangled robes, drifting in the cold underwaters of the world, reaching out to us in our dreams....FSM is only a shadow in the clouds of the true watery glory that is the Spangled Squid, whose sharp beak divides souls from fleshy bodies and sets us free into the depths..."
Yeah, watching too much Discovery Channel again. But it's for research!
