I'd prefer non-smoking, non-snoring but I can survive either/both. I myself am a non-smoking non-snorer who doesn't hog much of the bathroom, and knows how to come in late, quietly...

No more than one person -- I'm way past the age of cramming fifteen people in a hotel room. Gender isn't an issue, although anyone unknown to me had better come with some serious references (of either gender, actually).
