lagilmanTo celebrate finally being able to sit down and start Vineart 2, I opened one of the last bottles from my Burgundy research trip with dinner -- Pommard 1er Cru Clos de Verger, 2002

debg I said that it was like warm raspberries and cream, with the texture of a perfect gingersnap cookie -- not a big wine, not a soft wine, but baby bear's porridge of Just Right.
And then I did a quick google on the wine, and came up with this:
