That's hysterical. Reading about the state of their house has made me feel better about our own (very small, OK? actually just a couple and they may have been something else) fruit flies.

And the scorecard just made my afternoon.

Having taken shit for many of the housekeeping/work-habit examples cited in that essay, it is reassuring to be, well, reassured that it's a writer-thing, and not a Personal Failing.

The scorecard was painfully brilliant. Not that any of us have ever even dreamed of hauling out the measuring-stick....
