I can has floor. Floor is very very pretty. But cabinetry was delivered before grout was dry, and so, in addition to various appliances in my office, all the cabinetry is now piled in my living room, just begging one or both of the cats to try and jump on it. Probably at 3am.

I need a drink, a nap, and a bloody steak. Alas, no rest (or drinking) for the deadline-crunched. Must. Finish. Chapter. 13!


Tomorrow, the cabinets will be installed. And then...

Tonight I made your grandmother's chicken, with thighs only, and no mushrooms. It was delicious, and everyone actually liked it. You have no idea how rare that is. I am always happy to find another chicken recipe, and I thank you, your sister, and nana for it.

(I was actually driven to a grinder @ Subway tonight. Oh how the foodies have fallen)

Glad the recipe went over well. Nana was never happier than when everyone was eating. A lot. ;-)
