lagilmanLast night at 1am-ish, after a long day of taking care of the not-fun parts of business, O. the Super Super knocks on my door. Very apologetic, but do I have water?
"What?"
Water. On the floor.
Turns out that yes, I did have water on my floor, in the bathroom. But it wasn't coming from my pipes... upstairs!
O. goes off with the Wrath of the Building behind him, and tracks down the culprit who let his bathtub overflow (*facepalm*) and Took Care of It. I didn't hear anyone going out through a window, so I assume the individual yet lives and resides here*. This morning I discover water damage in the ceiling and wall, which I am assured Will Be Taken Care Of. Details of that Care yet to come.
*sighs*
However, on the plus side, I've just been informed that we have reservations at Dovetail -- a restaurant I've been dying to go to for over a year -- to celebrate Flesh & Fire finally being done and into production.
*is happier little foodie*
Today, please Universe, should be about actually getting writing done. Is good, yes? Yes. Thank you.
*O. bless him, takes this building's maintenance to heart. Also, he lives directly below me, so he got the water overflow, too.
