The last photo is currently my wallpaper. It was taken just as we walked in from the Bronx River parking lot (and yes, it is the Bronx River, or at least a small part of it)

We actually saw a bunch of different mongoose, but no meerkats this trip (it was a little cold for them -- we were visiting the winter-weather animals, this go-round)
