Whoops, wrong pony!

The next thing on the desk was supposed to be the revisions for HARD MAGIC, while I let the draft of VINEART WAR ripen.

Instead? My brain hands me the opening line for PACK OF LIES.

"You're dead. Also, stupid."

Hopefully writing the opening passage will be enough to keep it sated until December 22nd, which is my scheduled start-date. I'm not optimistic, tho.


Onward to revisions....

That happens to me too. It was particularly pesky in school when I was trying to do math homework. But, I have a foolproof way of breaking writer's block, if I'm desperate enough to use it.

Bonnie has never been shy about making her voice heard. Like P.B., she was just supposed to be a side player, a sidekick. Now she's got a short story and three books of her own, and she wants more.

I'm really quite anxious to see what they do for her first cover. These aren't "tough babe in leather and tats" books, even though they do indeed have tough babes in leather and tats. Okay, tough babes in $500 suits (Sharon) and funky-goth (Bonnie). Tats, check.

Yeah -- although the revising will be good, so the previous story will be fresh in my head while I write....

Oh, the problem isn't block, it's blocking! Must do revisions before I get to write, so characters must just sit down and hush for a few weeks.
