Date: 2008-08-25 08:35 pm (UTC)The amazing thing was that there were five distinct bands, clear and lovely, and if you squinted you might have imagined that you saw a sixth, where blue shaded into indigo....
The photos don't really do justice to how large this was -- it stretched across the entire sky. Fantastic.
