lagilmanYesterday I got in 2200 new words on The Book and, despite Other Life Intrusions, I've hit the 2/3 point of plot, if not word-length. Yay! It's all very very drafty, and since I'm writing the first bones of a new universe, there's stuff that I'm only now discovering that I'll have to go back and dig into/expand upon. But am not displeased with what's going down on the page.

debg arrives, my dad's birthday needs to be celebrated, and a surprisingly high pile of paperwork needs to be dealt with. Plus I may or may not hear back from several editors about Things Pending.
And I may or may not have a freelance job hit before I go.
