whoops, where did the time go?

Working on various and sundry deadlines (one down, two to go, one more pending An Editor actually getting back to me) and I suddenly realized that I leave for Burgundy in five weeks. Which is good, because I'm at the point in the book where I'm putting in notes like *need texture of soil* and *what does the wind taste like?* and *how large is a crusher of that period?* I could fake it, but even created worlds work better with authentic underpinnings, and for me, that means actually walking the walk.

So.

flat booked, check.
plane tickets, check.
TGV reservations, check.
flat-and-cat-sitter arranged, check.

Now to go work on the fun part -- the site visits!
