I've been informed that my dark SF story "Dragons" will be appearing in
issue #21 of ChiZine (http://www.chizine.com/), out this summer.

This story is part of the "Dragon Virus" series, of which "In the Aftermath
of Something Happening" (Oceans of the Mind, June 04) is another.

I'm still kind of astonished by it. Truthfully? After I sent it out I realized that I should have sent them another story, not that one. I figured they wouldn't think it to their style at all.

I guess my hindbrain knew what it was doing.

Will still send them that other story once they re-open for submissions again. If it's not gone elsewhere in the meanwhile.
