I am home. I have been primped, polished, well-fed, culcha'd [went to the Whitney to see the Kara Walker exhibit], well-drunk (er, well, you know what I mean), ventured into the wilds of Brooklyn and made it back out again, and did various and nefarious things, including pre-shopping.

And now I am home, with an entire week of nothing to do but hunker down and work [and finish putting together my 2008 spreadsheet, wheee]. Because somebody's got to pay for these wild weekends of revelry, non?

Hope everyone else had as enjoyable a weekend.


(and yes, I know the Giants are through to the next round. Shhhh, don't spook them!)

I have to say, I envy the Buccaneers their pirate ship right IN the stadium, firing off the canons for their team. Dayum!

But...next week? Um, Cowboys. I HATES THEM and I wish they weren't a threat, but. ::sigh:: I fear the Other Manning will be playing. Not the guy we had today.
