Red flag warnings in Malibu, CA -- reports are that someone was having an illegal bonfire in the hills, and it got out of control. They're calling that "a tragedy." I call it a criminal offense. 1500 acres in flames, and it's spreading.


Meanwhile, Jets fans are getting an even worse rap -- apparently it wasn't enough to verbally harass and attempt to intimidate women to show their breasts at games, but reports are now that women who don't have beer bottles thrown at them, and are spit on. And security has done nothing. My comments cannot be reprinted here, as this is an occasionally family-friendly LJ. But if you're a Jets fan? Police your own goddamn fandom. You WANT your female friends, your sisters, your daughters subjected to this? In the meanwhile, I'm boycotting ANYTHING at the Meadowlands Complex until this is cleaned up, including concerts, and I'm letting them know about it. If you're in the NYC/NJ area, I'd suggest you do the same.


Meanwhile something a little kinder and gentler...baby bats. Awwwww.
