lagilmanIt appears to be a particularly low-flying but nasty cold. I am sofa-slugging and drowning in tea, but being productive nonetheless, with a 3,000 word day. Go me!
Day 49 of Retrievers #6: Blood From Stone
She sighed deeply, reached down, and played her trump card. “It would mean a lot to Sergei if you did this for us.”
Morrie gave her a half-glare from under his heavy lids. “Don’t play me, Retriever. He’s gorgeous, but not that gorgeous.”
In other parts of my life, things seem to be getting Interesting. I may kiss Bernanke.
(But there are other people I need to kick. Hard. Anyone seen my pointy-toed boots?)
EtA: apparently the reward for hard work is...the desire to do more. I must be getting healthier.
