Still a little off pace, but not bad considering I've been traveling and conventioning and whatnot.

Armadillocon was good -- good to see old friends and meet new ones, get new faces at my reading, have interesting panels and good food, and some nice alcohol, and I even got enough sleep and some time in the hot tub. I may come back, cash and time permitting.

A few more days in Austin, and then home. Yay for home.

EtA: and Walter Jon Williams gives us LotR redone via oldskool D&D Ow. Just...ow. Bugger. We done did kilt it. Back again.

How's it hanging? Bonds hit his dinger, Discovery called it quits, I'm ten k into Dark in the Park, am still waiting for the second half of my advance on R&RNF (and panicking until it gets here, because without it, hosed), and ringing Nancy Pelosi and Gavin Newsom tomorrow for the SoL deal.

Also, wiped out a huumongous hornet's nest at mizshely's this evening. Go me.

How's it hangin'?

The room switcheroo here at Chez scarlettina continues slower than I'd like, so I'm distracted and a little irritable. I'm hoping that, with one more application of edging on the ceiling, I can pull up the dropcloth and get on with the actual moving.

Writing is for sh*t right now. Trying not to hate myself too much over it.

Freakishly excited and nervous about the trip.

All else is, uh . . . ya know, there.
