Much crazed, and off to California....

I was trying to describe why I was so restless last night to someone, and they replied: "so, basically, the fact that you've been working more than your usual two days a week at the office, are in the middle of a major freelance project, are working on two short stories and a proposal simultaneously, hitting the gym several times a week, and touring around the country to support your new book isn't enough to exhaust you."

Said that way.... I do feel kinda tired.

But this may go toward explaining why I just agreed to two new freelance projects, both of which need to be completed when I'm on the road. Ah well, who needs to sleep on planes, anyway? And I'm not starting Book 6 until the 1st, so hey, plenty of time to get it all done, right?

Have fun. You exhaust me just reading about what you have to do. I think I'll take a nap.

I can go for extended periods of time at All Out, and then it catches up with me and I become monosylabic protoplasm for a week. But then I recover, and I become restless again, and...

The only cure preventative is for me to keep mind and body engaged at a steady pace. Alas, Life doesn't always work that way.

(and when you throw in being On, as I am for public outings, it exhausts me even more, because that's not my natural state, as those unfortunate enough to live with me find out. Left to myself I am friendly but not particularly outgoing, especially when working.)
