Will you be gracing this year's BEA? If so, are you doing any events/signings/mischief?

Also, is it normal to look at the first hundred pages of a soon to be turned over to your editor manuscript and want to burn them?

1. Yes, I will be there on Friday, signing at the Harlequin booth at 11AM. Bring coffee. ;-) I will also be at Posman Books at Grand Central around 2pm -- it's a stock signing, not an event, but if you happen to show up I can personalize copies for you, and the bookstore will be happy to see buyers!

2. Oh lord, yes. Although I tend to say "here take this out of my hands" and then send an e-mail ten minutes later saying "god, no, don't read that file, read this one!"

Got it from Amazon yesterday. Was absolutely obnoxious in showing it to my co-workers today and demanding that they go out and buy the entire series. Will go out and check the bookstores in the local area this weekend, and make sure covers are turned out. If you have any flats, I'll pass them around...

Don't I wish!!!

I've started trying to write again, after a long hiatus. I need to. I need the release, with all the pressure at work. Two WIP. One fantasy, one military SF (hey, I write what I know). Both strong female leads. Fantasy heroine is an average looking brunette, spymaster for a Lord Marshal, favorite weapons are rapier, stiletto, pistol and garrote. Also in love with her employer. SF heroine is a skinny redhead with freckles (cliche city!), got her PhD in astronomy at 26, has a very bad case of imposter syndrome.
