short fiction update: Kidpro

lagilmanGot the page proofs yesterday for "Kidpro," the story I sold to Wizards, Inc. It will, according to the copyright page, be available from DAW in November 2007. Yay!
This is an interesting story. I thought so when I first thought of it, and I thought so when I finished it. What I had forgotten, sort of, was how it ended. Damn. Gave myself an ooky shiver, reading it through again.

greeneyedkzin you may be -- well, 'amused' by the story probably isn't the right work. Have a ping of recognition, perhaps. Magic + Wall Street = SEC headache. And also heartache.
