lagilmanAh, back to local US politics. From the Governor-idiot of NJ (he's out of critical condition, so let the rude jokes begin) to the endless opportunities to mock, snerk and roll your eyes at the President-in-Chimp (which I've decided to use since he claims he's not convinced of evolution's validity), watching the news is starting to make me feel like with Kurt Vonnegut's death, we've all been slipstreamed into one of his novels.
And, not to leave myself without a snerking, ego-googling found a reader-review of STAYING DEAD is distinctly negative (for reasons personal [she didn't like the fact that people had different nicknames for a single character, for example, and didn't like the basic magical set-up] rather than story-telling). Alas, alas. But what really amused me is that she's half-convinced I'm not a real person but rather a pairing of several Luna authors "pressured to create a book." Hrm. I wonder who I am....
And now, back to the working world.
