(what I love about that story is how many different ways there are to read it, and how much each reading says about the reader, rather than the story.... I metatexted myself! *grin*)

It is (like so much of my short fiction) so very very different from the Retriever novels, I thought that it might be a fun thing to share. Also, if I can break even one brain with it, then all's well with the world. ;-)
