This weather is Just Silly, is all I'm saying. I am not asking for heat, but seasonable would be nice....

After some slight social debauchery last night, it was back into the salt mines today. Today's chore was a freelance line edit (boys and girls, for the love of whatever gods you mollify, please never say 'their suspended passion' in any reference whatsoever, especially if it's not a romance novel), and more revisions work of my own.

And laundry. Never forget the joys of doing laundry.

I am also on the hunt for a good wheeled task chair for the afore-shown office. Anyone got any recs?

Some Pretty that is also Educational... the Iliad photo shoot

And ee knight is going to hell. you will too, if you laugh. I'll see you there.

I'm now imagining a couple making love while hanging from bungee cords suspended between skyscrapers. (Their suspended passion is bouncy.)

BoingBoing has a short piece about the making of the Iliad cover (http://www.boingboing.net/2007/04/06/howto_create_a_cover.html).

I have had a Harter Anthro chair for a dozen years. It is infinitely adjustable, and serves me well.

For decent, relatively inexpensive wheeled task chairs, try IKEA. They have several models available. I do recommend getting to a store and test-sitting rather than ordering online, though. My butt is plopped into one right now that's about 9 years old and it's still great, but your distribution of mass (okay, and your distinct absence of mass, certainly compared to me) and padding is undoubtably different, so what works for me may well not work for you.

I'm saving a few sheckels with the idea of getting a Herman Miller Aeron chair at some point. They're about 800 sheckels, though, but ahhhh... chair... so... comfy... can... work... for... hours...

Haven't talked Facilities into getting me one for the office yet, alas.

Meanwhile, ee knight is indeed going to hell, but with all the rest of us joining him, at least he'll have good company. :)

For closer to $150, try the IKEAs... I'm pretty sure they've got a number of decent ones under $200. Mine isn't mesh, it's fabric, and the backrest and armrests are indepedently adjustable for height, backrest tension, and overall height.

Then there's Recaro Office Furniture (http://www.ergonomicofficechairs.com/Recaro/ErgoSupreme.asp?categoryID=59&grID=238), to get a desk chair from the same folks who made your Audi seat... There are other sources as well, including Recaro themselves (http://www.recaro.com/fileadmin/pdf/download/sonstiges/GP_Office_GB_0804.pdf).
