lagilmanI spent all day doing things that are important and useful to my life, and boring as hell to blog about (i.e. paperwork and phone calls, with chunks of revision reading in-between). Therefore, I meme.

1. What do you consider your nicest physical feature?
I'm going to get whapped for this, but I really don't think I have any particularly nice physical features. It all works together pretty well, which is nice of it...
2. What is the most physically painful thing that you've experienced?
Migraine. No contest. A real pull-your-hair-out-because-it-feels-good-by-comparison pain.
3. How many pillows do you like to sleep with at night?
Two, one feather, one memory foam.
4. If your body was cremated, where would you like your ashes to be sprinkled?
An old vine zinfandel vineyard, somewhere with a nice ocean breeze.
5. What is the most common compliment people give you?
*is drawing a blank*"I liked your book," probably. Certainly that's the best one I get. "you're funny." I'm hoping they mean in the 'hah hah' way and not the back-away-slowly fashion...
6. What was your favorite book growing up?
Taran Wanderer.
7. What do you bring most to a friendship?
unconditional acceptance. which is probably why I am particular about who I call a friend.
8. What kind of store would you own if you could?
a wine store, of course.
9. Explain why some people don't get along with you?
They've met me. (stealing Keith's answer 'cause, well, it's true)
10. What famous piece of art would you like to display in your home?
any sculpture of Rodin's, most especially the 3/4 version of The Burghers of Calais.
11. If you had to be blind, deaf, or mute, which would you be?
Mute. I talk mostly with my hands, anyway.
12. What is your secret superpower?
I'd tell you, but then I'd have to mindwipe you. Again.
13. What's your battlecry?
"Piss off, willya?"
14. What do you doodle, if you doodle?
doodle? When I could be writing the next scene in the margin of my meeting agenda? Don't be sily....
15. What's the first video game you ever played?
I have no idea. It was on a Commodore 64, though.
16. Describe your dream house
Somewhere with a lot of natural light, space for artwork and bookcases, a well-appointed kitchen, and nooks for people to read in and cats to sleep in.
17. Name something you do to simplify your life.

18. What would you like to eat right now
Nothing -- had dinner already.
19. What's something you want to learn?
a foreign language (lessons already in progress)
