M. is part of a neighborhood watch group, so we get to hear all about the break-ins, attempted break-ins, robberies, etc, even the ones that don't make it to the news feeds.
I hate to admit that agamisu was right about me getting a second floor apartment, so I won't. But it does help me relax a little knowing that someone would have to work harder (and plan ahead) to get in here....
