I cannot believe that I spaced CSI last night. I came in just in time to watch Sara shave Grissom, which frankly horrified me as I never thought they had chemistry.

Ah, whereas I did*, and liked the fact that it's all been incidental to the real focus of the show, which is the work, not the personal. But then, I always liked Sara, from her entry onto the show ("wouldn't you, if you were married to Mrs. Roper?")




*at least compared to matching G up with C, which always seemed forced, despite how much I like MH as an actress

So - what *did* happen last night on CSI?

TOTAL SPOILERS ENCLOSED HEREIN!

A high school couple go missing. blood found. She is discovered by side of road, alive but badly crippled from being hit by a car. He is still missing. tragedy unfolds, as discovered bit by bit by team, with the help of yay!technology in the form of a cell phone vid-camera.

Turns out girl's best friend, who was also sleeping with the boy, and boy who had crush on girl #1, broke in on couple, tied him up and forced him to admit, on camera, that he was a boy-skank who gave crabs to every girl he 'nailed.' They were going to post the vid to YouTube, to warn other girls away from him. Boy-skank had also, apparently, been scrwing around with Really Loony photography teacher. Things went bad, and cruel prank turned deadly when boy-skank was killed accidentally after escaping. Kids panicked, girl #1 ran, girl #2 was hit on the head and died later, and boy #2 went down for murder, eventually, even though it was an accident and he wasn't the one who had done it. Girl #1 was hit by car driven by crazy teacher, who took dead boy-skank back to her love nest and od'd with him cleaned up and in her satin-sheeted bed.

Girl #1, who had done the actual pushing that led to the death, isn't prosecuted for various reasons, but it looks like she's going to be a paraplegic from the accident for the rest of her life.

And that's the simple rundown. *grin*

As per the Grissom/Sara thing, Sara make a comment during the invstigation to Warrick (I think) about an old skank boyfriend of hers, and W says "I hope your taste in boyfriends has improved" and she gets this funny look on her face, which is the only other G/S moment on the show until the shaving scene.

*blink* Dang! Missed an exciting one... although Supernatural wasn't half bad either, which is what I was watching, having for some reason thought that this episode was a repeat of the cheerleader-eating-the-cheerleader episode.
