Note to self: when cats wake you up at 5am, throwing them out the window is an option.
Note to self2: when in the grip of a massive word-making marathon? Remember to get up and move every few hours. No matter how comfortable the cats say they are. Remember that they woke you up at 5am.
Movies watched; Operation Petticoat. Because, really, a day that starts with Cary Grant is a good day. Also a docu on the making of disaster movies. That actually ended up being a note-taking excursion, not background noise. Ooops. Far too many episodes of "Last Comic Standing." Currently, Victor/Victoria, because Robert Preston is love.
Blankets used: None. It was actually nice out today.
Correspondence: arranged a lunch date for tomorrow, talked Paris-vacation plans with my sister, picked several peoples' brains for various bits of information.
Chores accomplished: None. Okay, I put the last of the laundry away, and cleaned off the kitchen counters. And clipped feline claws, after Pandora's kneading drew blood.
Exercise: Full lower body and abs workout. Go me!
Food eaten: a sesame seed bagel. The last of the poached salmon. A lot of caffeine. There is chicken marinating in the fridge for dinner.
Freelance project: Oh, god, the guilt. Maybe I'll work on it tonight.
Words written: so far: 2,200. Taking a break, and about to dive in for the rest of the day's count. 6500/7500 for the weekend. May make it, may not...

Date: 2007-01-29 02:59 pm (UTC)The wake-up calls in this house tend to involve someone Looking and someone else Hissing in response, and then a wild and horribly girl-fighting exchange of paw-slaps. Usually performed over some part of mom's until-then sleeping form.
