Grrrr. Someone stole a Staffie terrier from the local animal shelter today. Male, healthy, un-neutered. In other words, a gold mine for someone looking for a pit-fighting animal.

They're offering a cash reward for his return, no questions asked. I can only hope someone decides to take the quick and easy money. But I doubt it.

Poor puppy. I'm not a fan of Staffordshire terriers as a breed, but it's not his fault people are horrible. :-(

ETA: And bless NBC News for, as they said, 'taking a break from the bad news' to show footage of fifteen (15!) baby pandas, all part of a breeding program to boost the panda population. Fifteen baby pandas! All together now...awwwww....

But people still suck.

Someone posted a link to the pic of the 15 in their playpen, not too long ago. Between the heap of baby pandas and the ones sneaking off to seek other toys, it was impressive...

AmStaffs can be really sweet dogs, but it's usually not a good idea to have them in multipet households.
