Welcome home!

The only thing new with me is that I got a new computer... one that does not crash any time I try to (a) connect to the internet (b) open more than two windows (c) turn it on (for the last few weeks, any time I tried to turn on my old computer, I needed to reboot it two or three times before it would actually go on and be even minimally usable).

I hope you had a great holiday season and a happy New Year! What does your schedule look like for the next few weekends? If we can find a Saturday or Sunday when we're both free, I'd like to get together for dinner or something sometime before tax season hits.

Only real news is, we lost Gadabout; he died Boxing Day morning. Nic buried him in our front garden, near the peach tree.

And we're going to Hawaii - Kona, the Big Island - in February, me and the husband, to go hang out with David Nelson's band, and see three nights worth of live music, and let Nic see the volcanos.

Well, the obvious question is, do we know the drunk exploding things? That would add to the interest.

I saw Your Gentleman's doppelganger in a Poirot episode over the long hols -- in "The Hollows". YG is better-looking, but this fellow was easy on the eyes.

I haven't done most of the reporting yet on my own LJ, but the short list is, I had Rather Abrupt Surgery and came through well. And started a second book, just to complicate my writing. AND paid for an account, horrors, but have not settled on a Style.
