A good day, personally. Quiet, but the UPS guy came by twice, an old friend got in touch after too long, and I was reminded that some things -- and people -- are (think that I'm) worth making an effort for. Gifts of the season, indeed.
On the work front: 1900 words. Good for the day, but not enough to make up for yesterday's slacking. However, the lion has been found. Only it's not a lion. Confused? You will be, after this episode of... oh, never mind.
