Dec. 19th, 2006 08:09 am2800 words yesterday, followed by the promised tequila (I actually don't LIKE tequila, but C.O. Jones makes killer blackberry margaritas [
terri_osborne, this is the place I was telling you about!]) and much silliness of the social sort. Home and bed at a reasonable hour.
M. has decided to close the office from the 20th until the New Year and give us a much-needed break, so things today will be hectic. Writing will recommence on the evening.

It was the kind of snow that you want to watch from home, with hot chocolate and purring kitties. (They shut down I-40 tonight from Tramway Boulevard east. AAAAAAAAAAAAAlllllllllllllllll the way east. To Amarillo.)
And I'm supposed to be at a meeting at 8:30 tomorrow morning, and if you think I want to get up early enough to tackle those streets with a bunch of people who have No Clue about snow, well....

Date: 2006-12-21 04:05 am (UTC)I'm actually glad this storm hooked north as it means I don't have to drive into it Friday and Saturday... theoretically, I'll have some rain on the first part of the trip as I leave Michigan through Indiana, but from there south-west to Tulsa should be relatively clear...
