Back from WFC and a mini-vacation in NYC, to peevy cats who are currently sitting on either side of me as though to keep me from ever leaving home again, and a pile of Things To Be Done NOWNOWNOW.


Delightful to see many of you at WFC, and yes my voice is almost back to not-Bacall normal although I'm still coughing painfully. I may make a trip report but then again I may not. It all depends on how long the Things to Be Done NOWNOWNOW take.

Catching up on my f-list ain't gonna happen -- if you think I should or would want to know, drop me a line or a link, please. (and if you happen to run across any photos of me taken at WFC, please let me know? Because I was at an off-campus party Thursday night and then did the smart sick-meerkat thing and went to bed by midnight on Friday and Saturday I missed most of the late-night-shenanigans (agamisu reportedly made up for me in that regard) but I do vaguely remember flashes going off nearby at various times..)

And welcome, newcomers!

For now, I have to go make Nice to the Felines....


ETA: An I am only now realizing how many people I wanted to see this weekend, and either didn't, or have no memory of meeting (entirely possible, as I was a sicker-than-sick meerkat on Friday night, thanks to whomever brought the 24 hour stomach bug to town). Grr. Also argh.

I was quite pleased to see you at WFC. I know it was a brief chat during the autograph session, but hey, it was better than nothing. And you definitely had the best booze in the room, to my limited knowledge. :>
That's one thing I like about you, you come prepared.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Quite a few people seem to have come back from WFC with a bug. We should start researching convention viruses. It was nice seeing you, though. Email re: writing group on the way to you soon.

Oh, and I agree, I keep hearing that So-and-so was at the con and I regret not seeing them. For such a small con, it was both ridiculously easy to run across the same people multiple times, and easy to miss other folks completely.

The turn-out was far better than expected, considering the day and time. KEK's offering of baked good bribes didn't hurt. *wishes she had some of those cookies now* And my voice held out long enough to read what I meant to read, so that was of the good.
