my new cell phone has a lot of optional ring tones (all of which I hate, so everyone is currently ringing to the Peanuts theme -- sorry, guys). One of their offered categories is "animal noises."

Hrm.

Boomerang perks up and looks around when housecat meows are played. Both Boomer and Pandora stand up and look around when a kitten-in-distress meows.

The roaring lion? Totally gets their attention, in an "okay, who let THAT in here?" way.

But the tiger's call is what freaks them out. Interesting....

And, what does a girl do with a new camera-phone? She takes pictures of her cats, natch. Pandora was regal and posed so beautifully she's now the cell's wallpaper. Boomer, alas, was mostly a marmalade blur, but I did get one shot of him looking puma-tastic. If I can figure out how to upload them to the computer, I'll share. Probably ad nauseum, and [livejournal.com profile] quarkwiz can return the catmom-mockery I gave her last weekend. *grin*

If your phone/plan supports picture messages, you could send 'em to your e-mail. Not that I, you know, take a lot of pictures of my cat with my camera phone or anything. *g*

Taking pictures of my cat? This sounds like the only reason for buying one of those %$#@*% cell phones that can do everything but the laundry. Hmmmm.

Do you have a wolf-howl option? That recording used to _vanish_ the cats.

OK I was going to write something dirty, but I am too tired. I love my phone/PDA. I wouldn't give it up for anything. I gave my friend my old Razor. She loves my old ringtones especially Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall." I can't download songs like that to the Treo. Maybe that is a good thing because they cost too much. I spent a lot on games and ringtones between the time I bought my first flip phone and my Razor. I got them a year apart. There were certain ringtones I had to have.

Hey, I have George Winston's "Linus & Lucy" CD. I can live with Vince's work!
