On the plus side, we don't have Monday as such, either.

Wow. The Giants showed up for the first half of the game. And hung around for the second half. Who'dathunk it?

In the past 48 hours I:

went grocery shopping
made chocolate-peanut butter fudge for Collective bake-and-tag sale
helped out at aforementioned bake-and-tag sale
did rush line-edit
wrote rush copy writing job
wrote non-rush copy-writing job (I plan to start it tonight, tho)
accomplished outlet shopping (yay haf-price fleecy-warm red plaid pjs!)
poached a massive chunk o' salmon and prepped it into many lunches
Stewed beef stew
made more WFC meeting arrangements
Had Major Spring Trip proposed, and pre-plotted
belled the cats (okay, just collars and tags, no bells)
discovered where nearest ER is (contrary to expectation, it took a full six months!)
ate massive amounts of leftover peanut butter chips

Tomorrow, I get to finish up the rest of the list, finish up a research project for M, and poke at the phone until it rings (note to self: remember not everyone is in office!). And maybe get some writing done too. That would be nice....

Improvisational Chef's Teriyaki Salmon

1 lb salmon filet (I was using Coho, if you're being particular)

place filet in plastic bag or large bowl. Add several large splashes of teriyaki sauce, a splash of fresh lemon juice, two cloves garlic (sliced), fresh grated ginger, herbs and spices to availbility (I used, um: white pepper, allspice, black pepper, sea salt, and tarragon, I think). Marinate overnight. Bake at 300 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until pink and flaking to the fork. Burn yourself on the oven shelf (optional). You can add another splash of teriyaki sauce before serving, if you want a stronger flavor. Reheats well. Serve with brown rice or (my preference) oven-fried red potatoes. Yum.

Feeds two hungry people, or three who had seen food before.

On the plus side, we don't have Monday as such, either.

So this Monday's not a holiday for you, then. (Or, indeed, for me.)

So, I'm guessing the "Burn yourself on the oven shelf" is the reason for locating the ER?
