The people making those comments in the fist place were off-base anyway because those exploding batteries in the Dell were the same Sony batteries Apple is recalling. I was getting so annoyed with those people making the Dell comments because of that -- and it's not like I care one way or the other, any recommendations for Dell I make are based on my techie co-workers who swear by Dell....

Recanted. Don't have to go to Apple store. My Powerbook is exempt. Another case where my excesses work in my favor, since I have a 17" Powerbook and their batteries weren't part of the recall.
