If I told you that I had ants on a log for breakfast, would you be

It's been so hot, I had to put the peanut butter in the fridge to keep it from melting. Oy.

Hungry, but then I usually am this time of day. Christina would love breakfast at your house, if that was on the menu. Austin would have to decline, due to his peanut allergy (though I suppose if you replaced the peanut butter with cream cheese or even Cheez-Wiz, he'd be interested).

I'd pass on the ants, but that sounds really good this morning.

And it became a huge fad when I was in fifth grade to put cream cheese in the celery instead of PB. Along with Jolly Rancher sticks and tin lunch boxes...

OMG tin lunch boxes!! I haven't seen those things in ages. I had two, one was Strawberry Shortcake..the other, my favorite, was Linda Carter as Wonder Woman. Ahhh the memories.

Mine was very Little House on the Prairie... rectangular, with a lid and two handles that pulled up over the top. Pink, with white lines and red hearts... My dad hated them because they weren't big enough for a thermos and we had to start buying those new-fangled juice boxes. *L!*

I never really liked the ants, but I love(d) them without. I know some people who use chocolate chips for ants instead.

(the crew here has suggested replacing the celery with graham crackers. But at that point you've sort of lost the point of "healthy" food...)

celery stuffed with peanut butter, topped with raisins (the ants). Protein, fruit and veggie (sort of) in an easy-to-carry package. Also, name appeals to kids who otherwise might turn up their nose at 'healthy' food.
