lagilmanFrom this you may determine that the New Haven Collective beach volleyball team held their first practice tonight. Two hours of pretty intensive play, switching up the players to get everyone accustomed to each other. For a bunch of middle-aged geezers (okay, a bunch of middle-aged geezers and Sven) we did okay. I'm pleased to say that I did not disgrace myself, and even made a couple of very nice shots.
I also managed to jam my finger, and land face-down in the sand at least once, but hey, it's not a game until someone's said 'medic!"
Tomorrow morning I may not feel so self-satisfied, however...
And I need an icon for exercise. Or a first aid kit.
