Pick five people at random off your f-list. Say something about them, including why you have them on your f-list.

[livejournal.com profile] havocthecat -- an on-line friend who became family... literally! She has a life so different from mine in almost every way, and it fascinates me.
[livejournal.com profile] bgliterary -- one of my -- let's say longest, not oldest friends in publishing. Oh, the stories we could tell, if it weren't for that damned non-disclosure agreement we signed... I listed him to keep an eye on his whereabouts in case the FBI comes calling.
[livejournal.com profile] seachanges -- out of tragedy, friendship. What comes out of Bonnie's brain is always entertaining, and often makes me sit back and think about what I think I know.
[livejournal.com profile] vincam -- She once stood over me as I literally ROTFLMAO and noted, rather clinically, that I was turning blue. Which just made me laugh harder, until I really couldn't breathe. She's more interesting than she thinks she is, and doesn't journal anywhere near enough.
[livejournal.com profile] ferragus -- St. Tom o' the Flask. You know the people you can't remember where or when you met them, because haven't they always been in your life? That's [livejournal.com profile] ferragus. Warm soup on a cold day.

Rinse and repeat on your own journal, if so desired.

and lo, I disappear back into the depths of the manuscript...
