Tuesday Like a Monday...

I am sick. Sore throat, dizziness, fever: the whole shmear. I am writing, although slower and with less result than I'd like. Am at point in book where all I can see are the flaws, but must push through nonetheless, otherwise the entire middle will fall out like a badly-made pie.


I have nothing else to report.


ETA: when Pandora stretches, I mean really stretches, a full-length, getting-comfy stretch? Her ears quiver. SO cute.

Hi there. Me too. I definitely recommend your juice of choice (mine is apple juice and Perrier)and later, bourbon and hot lemon and honey or maple syrup.

Pulpless OJ, alternated with Earl Grey, boiling hot. I tried the scotch-and-honey route last night, but it didn't taste right, and I don't waste my single malt on misbehaving taste buds...

Thankfully, have job I can do in my pjs, with feline comfort at shoulder and knee and foot. Pandora especially likes it when I'm sick -- I sleep more, which means she gets to cuddle more.

oh, and ditto on the stretchiness. Apache, my psychotic furball does the same thing. I love it when she also does the arch up stretch and her whole body shakes like she's trying to put all her bones back in place.

Oh, I feel your pain. I'm virussed to the eyeballs right now. Soooo crappy. Thank god for supermarkets round the corner, I was buying painkillers at a quarter to midnight the other night cos I ran out. Also still writing, but more slowly. Sigh.
