deep dark secret
Feb. 14th, 2006 04:55 pmI like Valentine's Day.
I can count the number of really good Valentine's days I've had on one hand, and still have a middle finger to show to Cupid, but I still like the day. Not what the Evil Axis of Hallmark/Godiva/American Florists Society deems as Valentine's Day, mind you, but the idea of a day set aside for someone -- anyone -- to go as sweet and sappy and doofy as they wish with the people they love, without fearing loss of any cool/hip points.
Yeah, we could and should do that every day. But we don't.
