Ow. But not all is bad.
Jan. 20th, 2006 11:28 pmI have f***ed up my knee. I have no idea how -- sometime mid-afternoon it felt as though someone had tied a knot in the cartiledge. By evening, it was stiff and aching. It currently hurts like a m**********r.
I'm supposed to work a full shift tomorrow. This should be... interesting.
On the plus side, pain seemed to focus my mind wonderfully, as the knot in the plot has untangled, smoothed out, and extended the interweaving threads well into the fifth book and prepared to tie the entire series up in a nice neat bow... while still leaving enough string to weave book 6, which is going to ...what? You really thought I was going to tell you? Silly wabbits.
You take what victories you can. At least until the painkillers kick in.
