Going to hit the road soon, off to Boston. Will check in as schedule and pecan pie allow. *grin*

All right, everyone (American or otherwise) 'fess up. What's one thing this year you're thankful for? Be as goopy/silly/thoughful as the season requires... (doesn't have to be the most important thing, just one from the list)

For me... my Muse. Thank you for being there to mess with me.

I'm thankful parent-teacher conferences are over!

Insanely jealous about the pecan pie. Oz types don't know how to do it properly, just like spareribs.

Have a safe and fabulous trip to Boston. If you see Spenser, give him a kiss for me.

I'm grateful for having 2 books published this year ... it's a dream that often seemed never destined to come true.

I am thankful I have someone who understands.

A lot.

Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

This year, I'm thankful to have overcome many obstacles and had the opportunity to grow as a writer. Hoping the new year brings the same opportunities.

many happy sparkly things to be thankful for, both physical and metaphysical, but I think I'll tip a nod to Hershey's Cherry Cordial Kisses, just 'cause...

Many things to be thankful for, good health, family, friends, but definitely most thankful for my husband. He good for me in ways too numerous to count. :)

I'm thankful for my best friend without whom I would have been out as well as down.

Ah, where to begin?

I'm thankful for finding my bride, for the emptiness she fills in my life, for the possibilities her presence creates, for the inspiration she provides, and the gifts she reminds me I have when I've forgotten them.

Sure, there's more, but I'll stop there. I'm thankful, and I try to remember just how incredibly fortunate I am, every day.

The fact that in between ickiness, Frey is still feisty enough to drive the neighbors nuts singing along with the ambulances, punctuated by barkies. She's very musical, that dog. [sigh]

Oh, we do *excellent* pecans. We just don't know how to make them into delectable pies. To date, the very best pecan pie I ever had was in Chicago. Cajun restaurant. Um .. Heaven on Seven? The one with the wall of tabasco sauces.

Pecan pie to diiiiieeeeee for.

Glad you got your fix this year ...

It's not a big thing but --
after purchasing a 20 oz coffee AND a 32 oz soda at the last open gas station between Missouri and Illinois, I was really, really thankful for the rest area ;)
