First lines from works in progress.

"Breathe. Breathe, damn you!"
-- "Inferno" (short story)

“Once, we were nomads.”
-- "Waterwitch" (short story)

Wren Valere had spent hours, more than once, waiting in a cramped, close situation, anticipating the perfect moment to move on a job.
-- Retrievers #4 (title pending inspiration)

After endless weeks of being at the mercy of tide and wind, Manon knew that she would never love the sea.
-- THE GREENING (aka The New Project)

there are a few other things, but these are what are on the front burner...

Great work. First lines scare the crap out of me, sometimes to the point where I'll write PLACEHOLDER FOR FIRST LINE and just go on.

Yes, but they're two different processes. *g* I have enough trouble keeping one story straight in my head. I'm impressed!

Yes. Garlic is good. I suppose I could always look up moly in a dictionary .. *g*
