Shhh, don't tell anyone. But last night's CSI? Made me cry.
Okay, sniffle gently at the end. But still.
Without giving spoilers, last night's episode was extremely strong, even for them -- the use of the voice-over was, while not original, exceptionally well-handled. The crime was painfully stupid and real, as were the perps -- and so too were, in a lot of ways, the victims. And the team lead did his job with skill, delicacy, and absolute doggeded dedication, showing an amazing level of grace and growth since the beginning of the series.
The CSI gods must be pleased. I know I was.
I didn't even notice, other than in passing, that there was a Lack of Gris.
But there were no teasers for next week. This frets me much.
