Less funny to me right now, seeing as how the crack-and-leak in the hall ceiling this morning turned into a bulge this eveneing turned into a thud-crash-oh shit pile of debris in the hallway. We all gathered to badmouth the guys who put the new roof on, not three years before. Other apartments report leaks as well. Nothing in the home of we_felines_four, thankfully. Long may the dryness and intactness continue...
I think I'm going to put away the work, pour myself a glass of something soothing, and stay under cover.
"Doesn't that make you just want to go into a nice warm bar -- and stay there until Labor Day?" (Letterman again, speaking of the view outside)
