lagilmanAlthough the headache remains, I soldier on. Various job-lead chasing and errand-running took up most of the day, but I managed to get 1000+ words on Retrievers 2, and some more work done on the new YA proposal. Would still be working on the latter, except I hit a plot snag and my brain fell over and refused to get up again. "Leave me alone," it's moaning. "It's Friday! Go get drunk like normal peoples!"
"If you do another 500 words," I offer, "I'll make us a drink..."
"What kind?" My brain is a tough negotiator.
"What kind of a scene are you willing to do?"
And we stagger off into the darkness, making counter-offers...
