weekend update

lagilmanWell, it was a surprisingly productive weekend.
Finished a major freelance project, and made strides on another.
Got several thousand words written -- and, more to the point, figured out where things had been stalling.
Had several bits of story ideas come to me that are starting to coalesce into one very weird-ass story.
Ate excellent ribs and drank good wine.
Saw a remarkably bad movie that made for excellent snarkage.
Did laundry (joy).
Made some plans for the next six weeks, which are times of Much Busy-ness and Business.
Clipped and brushed felines (with Our Four, this can get to be a major chore!)
Oh, and I also slept. Lazy afternoon catnaps. Not a lot, but more than I've been getting. Nice.
And now we head into the week with some other things still pending, and way too much to do before I head off to Necon next weekend (and then Arizona!), but all in all, I'm not displeased with my progress.
