On the other hand, Sara Ramirez won a Tony for her role in Spamalot. Yayyyyy! *much Kermit-waving of arms* I am pleased to say I predicted this, mere moments after seeing her do The Diva Song onstage. And Mike Nichols won for best direction of same, yayyyy!
(and Terri? *hands her a towel* You know you need it, and you know why. *grin*)
Spent last night at the Harlequin Book Expo party, which was quite swanky and a lot of fun, and ooo, caviar! And after the party ended, there were late night single malts (and cider) in the local Irish pub with fellow Lunatix Maria Snyder,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
arcaedia, and Luna Goddess and editor Mary-Theresa Hussey. And yes, we were by far the best dressed femmes in the joint. :-)
Today? Woken by the sound of a feral cat somewhere serenading the dawn (and Boomer deciding to try a tenor counterpoint), then brunch at a local Southern BBQ place that does a killer buffet.arcaedia was sent off to catch her train home and then (fortified by iced tea and a fan set on "high"), it was back to work. Much work waiting on the desk, yes.
And it's supposed to be damnhot[tm] all week. Urgh. *melt*

Update: SPAMALOT! Yay, Spamalot! Best Musical! *massive Kermie-armwaving*
